BRAHMAN GLIMPSE
As you exhale, you feel your entire body dissolve into a fine mist and pour from your mouth in a plume of acrid smoke. With no eyelids left to shield your eyes, no eyes left to convince your brain, and no brain left to make sense of the scene before you, SHE appears; bare and glistening against the black shroud of infinity.
The past and future contract instantly into a thin glass wall as invisible machines etch arcane symbols into the resulting thresholds. Is it a prayer, a curse, or a warning?

DIATOMIC

You float forward through a darkened hall, chasing the technicolor shimmer of a locked black box. Suddenly, the cube freezes before bursting open and sucking you inside. You’re met by the piercing glare of a guardian. The box snaps shut and its walls begin to close in around you. A single eye follows as you frantically search for an exit.

CARRIER THREADS
You find freedom in the fall as you tumble out of the void and into a new blue sky. Angelic silks soothe your skin, breathing life back into your corporeal form.
PRODUCTION INSIGHTS:
Created using a combination of zbrush/cinema4d/octane. My favorite part of creating this piece was using the geometry of flowers, and extruding them in order to create the fabric. Zbrush cloth dynamics were also used, to give the threads a bit more realism. A rainbow gradient was implemented within the rear rim lighting to provide an extra layer of iridescence.
ELYSIA
A COLLABORATION WITH ANDROID JONES
You remember that you have a face. You dare to blink; a lifetime of objects and symbols materialize before you, blinding and radiant in a gossamer heap. A figure takes shape amidst the wreckage.
Her gaze is warm and cleansing as she whispers:
“You’re almost home.”
PRODUCTION INSIGHTS:
Created using a combination of zbrush/cinema 4d/octane/keyshot. It’s always an amazing experience collaborating with android. The way he builds his models is very similar to the way he paints. There’s a distinct flow to his movements, and he allows the geometry to fall into place by itself. He paid careful attention to ELYSIA’s expression, allowing her eyes to tell the story. For this piece, android created the geometry, and I animated/textured/ and lit. It was a challenge for me to composite her in such a way so that the final animation lives up to its source geometry.

Finally untethered from the black winter at your back, you have turned wholly into the light of a new dawn.
The goddess faces the past with eyes closed in acceptance, even as her mind explodes forward into a future of endless possibilities.
This is not the end of your journey. It has only just begun.
PRODUCTION INSIGHTS:
This was created using a combination of zbrush/cinema4d/octane. It’s a classic Glass Crane piece, and a deeper dive into the original still PASTEL PETRICHOR, owned by esteemed collector MantaXR. With his blessing, I’ve decided to explore her in greater depth. With this piece I’ve chosen to leave the materials very simple and almost plastic to let the full depth of her pastel palette shine. It was a cathartic experience working with depth of field to draw the viewers eye with every frame to the meticulous details within, which is why you can see the aperture changing rapidly, which also mirrors the way aperture changes on your third eye’s camera during a DMT experience, along with the steady “single-shot” method of maneuvering the camera.
